The body has ways of showing when it needs more water. Thirst is the most obvious sign. However, thirst is also a late signal. Try drinking water in place of snacking, you will often find your body is thirsty not hungry.

Often we read or watch on TV that it is very important to drink at least 2 litres of water per day. Here is a tip for an easy and very simple way to drink this amount of water without altering your daily routine,
Simply have 2 X 1 Litre bottles of water, one at home and one at work. When you wake in the morning try and drink as much of the bottle at home as you can before you go off to work. Then while at work drink all of the bottle you have at work throughout the day finish the 1L bottle before you leave for the day. Then you simply finish off the bottle at home before you go to bed.

This is a simple way to be able to measure the volume of water you consume in a day. Your body will feel rehydrated and your skin will look fresher.
The old 6 glasses a day works well depending on the size of the glass. But if this works for you then something is definitely better than nothing. Always opt for water instead of sweetened fizzy drinks or alcohol, the effect from making these choices is one your body will love you for.
